ClearPlay is actually a dvd player that has a USB port for the filter stick. (A little gadget that plugs into the player.) What it does, (besides giving you peace of mind), is filters bad language, immoral scenes, and heavy violence. There are different levels that you can choose from in your settings panel which controls how much or how little you want to see. It's great!!
Regardless, ClearPlay has been great, and a nice addition to our movie time!
